Ingrid Bornia, known as the BOSS Therapist has completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the esteemed HBCU Norfolk State University, in Norfolk, Virginia. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the prestigious Syracuse University, where she studied Human Behavior; Ingrid is a native of Brooklyn, New York and has over 15 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings, including outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, residential psychiatric, large non-profits, private practice, Military and Veteran mental health services.
Ingrid is a very down to earth therapist and practices the model of meeting people where they are. She likes the finer things in life, but she doesn’t shy away from easily recalling her very humble beginnings. Ingrid is a strong advocate for women and mental health and after realizing that it took her 20 years to figure out how to heal from her own trauma, she decided to package her experience and offer it in outpatient treatment to others, in the hopes to save others the years of confusion and pain. Ingrid prides herself in working with strong women and all the staff whom she has agreed to work alongside have integrity and impeccable clinical processing skills. This gives Ingrid great pride to work with other Women BOSSES who provide BOSS Therapy!!
